The National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS) has recently issued the official notification for Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) TGT Teacher Recruitment 2023. This recruitment drive aims to fill 6329 vacancies for both teaching and non-teaching positions across various regions in India. Eligibility criteria
For TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher)
Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
OR
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject/combination of subjects and in aggregate.
For TGT (Hindi): Hindi as a subject in all three years.
For TGT (English): English as a subject in all three years.
For TGT (S.St): Any two of the following main subjects at graduation level: History, Geography, Economics, and Pol. Science, of which one must be either History or Geography.
For TGT (Maths): Mathematics as the main subject at graduation level with one of the following as a second subject: Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, Economics, Commerce, and Statistics.
For TGT (Science): Bachelor’s Degree in Science with any two of the following subjects: Botany, Zoology, and Chemistry.
B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized University.
Pass in the State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-II, conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium.
For Hostel Warden
Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT or other NCTE recognized institution in the concerned subject.
OR
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university/institute.
Age Limit
- For All TGT/Hostel Warden Posts: Not exceeding 35 years.
- Up to 55 years for EMRS employees.
- Age relaxation for SC/ST and others as per Govt. of India rules would be applicable.
Application Fee
An application fee is mandatory for candidates applying for EMRS TGT Vacancy 2023. The fee must be paid online, and applications without the fee payment will not be accepted. The specific amount will be detailed in the official notification:

Selection process
